Criteria for Awarding Participants:

 

1. Connection to Lady Lions Sisterhood:

Applicants should be children or relatives of active members of the Lady Lions Sisterhood with a minimum membership duration of one year.

2. Age Requirement:

Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 23 years old.

3. Leadership and Involvement:

Applicants should demonstrate active participation in youth-related activities, events, projects, and/or initiatives. Leadership roles within youth organizations or related community activities will be viewed favorably.

 

4. Essay or Video Presentation:

Applicants are required to submit an essay (500-750 words) or a video presentation (5-8 minutes) describing how their involvement in youth-related activities has positively impacted their lives. They should also outline their academic and personal goals and explain how the scholarship will aid in achieving those aspirations.

 

5. Recommendations:

Applicants must provide at least two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to their character, dedication to youth-related activities, and contributions to the community.

 

6. Financial Need (if applicable):

Consideration will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need, although this is not the sole determinant of eligibility.

 

7. Proof of Enrollment:

Recipients must provide proof of enrollment in a recognized educational institution or Enrichment program for the upcoming academic year within 90 days of being notified of their selection as scholarship recipients. Written notification is required if the applicant cannot meet this deadline.
